Who is involved?
The Activate Troy Partnership (ATP) is a public-private partnership formed to study and coordinate key community efforts impacting quality of life for all Troy residents. It was originally formed as a steering committee to advise and direct efforts involving the downtown and riverfront initiative in order to assure a collaborative, well-rounded and realistic approach to development.
The partnership agreed that in order to continue to provide community leadership, guidance and comment to potential developers, current property owners, and government leadership regarding the future redevelopment of the Troy Downtown Riverfront area, that the partnership would continue and add other key members to ensure that all interests are represented.
Public-private partnerships, such as the Activate Troy Partnership, are becoming increasingly prevalent and critical to the success of progressive communities. Working together, stakeholders assure that responsible, strategic investments, of both public and private funding, are leveraged within communities to the common benefit of all.
